We greatly enjoyed hosting some of the Class of 1970 for a Q&A session with UNI President Mark Nook on October 8! For those who couldn't make it we wanted to share the recorded session so you could hear the campus update and the questions and answers he provided.
We are looking forward to inviting you back to campus for Homecoming 2021 and celebrating in person with the Class of 1971. For now, please save Friday, October 20, 2021.
While we would like nothing more than to host the Class of 1970 on campus for your Golden Reunion at Homecoming, your health and safety must be the first priority. In light of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person tours and reception previously scheduled for Friday, October 16.
Instead, please plan to join us for a virtual welcome and Q&A session with UNI President Mark Nook and Leslie Prideaux, UNI Alumni Association President, on Thursday, October 8 at 3 p.m. CST.
Please be sure to register for this virtual event.
Share your favorite memories!
Since we can’t gather in person we plan to create a digital scrapbook for the Class of 1970. Please send any favorite memories or photos you’d like to include to email@example.com or to the UNI Alumni Association, 205 Commons, Cedar Falls, IA 50614-0284. If you have memorabilia or correspondence from your time at UNI, University Archives welcomes donations of physical items from Panther alumni. Contact Jaycie Vos, university archivist, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 319-273-6307 to learn more.
Although we can’t gather with you this fall we still want to host you on campus in the future. Please mark your calendar for October 2, 2021. We’re looking forward to hosting both the Class of 1970 and 1971 at Homecoming 2021!
